This is for those specifically travelling to us from abroad and for Indians living outside of Himachal Pradesh. Please see our package offers, fill-in the ‘Initial Contact’ form and then speak to us via the phone before filling in the form below. The prices of our packages are inclusive from your arrival in either Delhi or Shimla until your departure. The price below includes accommodation and transport within your journey plus three healthy meals per day and 4 beverages(herbs teas, lemon/ginger/honey and fresh coffee, etc.)

We guarantee no hidden extras. However, prices do not cover any of your personal extras, such as snacks and beverages outside of the itinerary given.

Responsibilities

Unfortunately, there are no reliable insurance policies for journeys in India. Also, using western companies for entire groups would cause your journey to be too costly.

However, Himalaya Discovery makes every possible endeavour to care for your safety and well-being and have given the utmost consideration in choosing our on-route team, vehicles, accommodation and catering.

Our drivers are known to us and highly experienced and all vehicles used are classed as ‘luxury’ in India. We have also chosen the best dates for weather conditions in the areas visited.

Important

Himalaya Discovery cannot accept financial responsibility for any on-route accidents or physical injuries. We also cannot take financial responsibility for any damages you (or your children) may personally incur to any of the facilities offered, even if accidental.

And finally, all our hotels on-route are paid for well before your journey begins and they are on a ‘non-refundable’ basis. If our route has to be changed while you are on-route and a temporary hotel booked because of unpredictable weather conditions, the cost of booking another room for you will need to be incurred by you. Saying this, our journeys always go smoothly and according to plan.

Deposits & Payment method

A non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total cost is required upon booking. The remainder is due no later than six weeks before your journey begins.

In relation to the Himalayan-Ganges or Buddhist Pilgrimage Journey, if, for whatever reason, you need to cancel after paying in full and we are able to fill your place, we will return 80% of your total booking fee. (If you live outside of India, for a minimal fee, you can privately insure against this.)

For those travelling from outside India

If you are arriving the day before the official start of this journey, and you would like us to book an extra night for you, please inform us as you will incur an extra night’s hotel fee plus any food/beverages.

As mentioned, please print the two-paged booking section and send a signed copy by registered (signed for) post, along with 2 passport size photographs for our personal records and for acompulsory Himalayan government pass into the remotest regions.
